With our empire expanding into Bedford we have decided we've felt a little left out. Thusly we are taking matters into our own hands and are expanding our empire in Berkhamsted starting with Fitness First, situated opposite our fine restaurant.
We are taking steps in linking up with the gym in order to give you fitness fanatics a healthy meal before or after your intense workout. And what is healthier than fresh fish? You may believe that slogging your body to death for an hour in a gym will keep you healthy, but it also needs essential vitamins, nutrients, and oils. This makes fish the perfect companion to a hard session. It is recommended that your body requires 2 weekly helpings of Omega 3, something that fish has in abundance. Omega 3 is a fatty acid but it is unsaturated fat meaning it helps to lower cholesterol. The oil is also proven to help the heart and reduce the risk of heart disease. It has also been linked to improving brain and eyesight function, particularly fighting muscle degeneration. Another positive impact is on the immune system and is also particularly beneficial for women, especially when pregnant. The list goes on.
So in order to keep your body in tip top shape we are currently developing a deal that sees you, the Fitness First customer, benefit from our restaurant. Whether it be a pre workout lunch or post workout dinner we hope to provide you with the essentials your body needs. We are proposing a 10% discount on all meals on presentation of a valid membership and possibly a free glass of wine if you spread the word and invite your Fitness Friends (also with membership) to the restaurant. This is all in development and nothing is confirmed but we think it's a great way to keep Berkhamsted healthy.
Stay tuned as the latest development will be here first.

Eat Fish this Festive Season
We are happy to announce our 2008 christmas menu is now officially available.
The menu, bursting with fresh festive flavours, runs from the 1st December right up until the 24th and is priced at a very attractive £24.50 per head for 3 courses finishing with tea or coffee.
For all you lunchtime lovers a special offer of £17.50 is available, consisting of two courses, coffee and good old mince pies.
If you are looking for a restaurant that offers fresh ingredients delivered on the day and cooked using an oven rather than a microwave, combined with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere there is only one option in Berkhamsted.
This menu is ONLY available through bookings and all food must be pre-ordered.
Please contact for a menu or availability. This is our busiest time of the year so book early to avoid disappointment.
In addition our menu has a january promotion. Attached to the back is voucher that entitles the customer to a free glass of house red or white wine. Pick up a menu for details.
A quick note on our New Years Eve plans. Our desire is to have a one sitting evening and offering a special menu. The menu and price have yet to be confirmed but there will be live entertainment, possibly a 3 piece band, to help aid the celebrations and the turn of the year. If you would like to register your interest in this evening please email us or visit the restaurant.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Eat Fish and Joseph Perrier Present...
Eat Fish is proud to anounce two special evenings in association with Joseph Perrier, our new champagne.
We aim to hold this evening on two nights one on October 28th and the second on 25th November, we will be holding a champagne evening to showcase the very best of fresh seafood for the coming season and combining it with the very best champagne from this exquisite french producer.
During the evening you will be able to sample the tastes of both food and drink under the guidence of a master of wine from Joseph Perrier itself in order to understand how the complexities of flavours combine to bring the best out of the food.
The event will be held in the conservatory section of the restaurant and we will hopefully be able to accommodate a maximum of 6 per table and around 30 all together for what should be a very intimate occasion.
The evening shall consist of one sitting and 5 courses finished with a selection of the finest British cheeses and followed by coffees and petis fours. Each course shall be accompanied by a glass of champagne expertly matched to that dish.
The menu itself is in the process of being finalised but we can confirm the price will be £70 per head for all courses, champagne, and also a complimentary glass upon arival.
We have had quite a response since anouncing it this week so if you are attracted by this evening please contact the restaurant as soon as possible to register your interest.
If the two evenings prove to be successful, which we hope they are, then t may become a common event but ith different themes.
We hope to hear from you soon.
